Dating Sites - reporting problems
Having raised the role of dating sites in grooming - groomers using them to find their targets - we strongly believe you should report to the dating site with concerns.
We are currently working our way through these sites, and welcome any feedback or support researching!

Badoo
We were totally surprised and delighted to find that Baddo are taking, or appear to be taking users ‘ safety seriously.
Their site has both information on staying safe and on where to report inappropriate ontact/behaviours: Badoo Safety Centre
However, we recommend a look at TrustPilot reviews before signing up: Badoo on TrustPilot
-
Bumble
Bumble can only be contacted through their system - there is no telephone number to call
In the bowels of the site, there is a link to complain about other users’ behaviours: Complaints
There is no indication of how sewriously they take, or deal with, complaints.
Bumble on TrustPilot. (We recommend looking at this before signing up)

Meet My Age
This website appears to be a scam site!
Trading off the success of DateMyAge, and with Google Ads that appear when searching for DateMyAge, profiles are AI, which they deny and their responses to complaining customers are also met by an intransigent AI bot. We are aware of them telling people that their Paypal payments haven’t gone through and requesting a second payment.

About Cupid Media
Cupid Media synicates member’s data across its sites. If you register on one site, you could find yourself on other sites.
We believe this could be very traumatising: say you are a single mother protecting your children by only using single dating sites, you could find yourself also on a site for dating redheads if you’re a redhead, a ‘uniform dayting’ type site if you’re in a profession that wears one etc.
Their view is that they get you the dates. Ours is that they should ask your explicit permission to share this data across sites before doing so - terms and conditions are not enough.
It is down to each synidicated site to decide on their own monitoring policies and take no responsibility for them.

Christian Cupid
Owned by Ecom Holdings Pty Ltd (Australia) this site is licensed by Cupid Media and its terms and conditions are those of the parent company. The only safty suggestions on the parent site go to a broken link, and no contact details are available without registering.
Fake profiles are possible and we have been told that there is a report function. (more information to follow when available)

The Dating Network: know how your data is being used
The Dating Network works in the same way as Cupid Media, above, reusing data from dating profiles across numerous sites
-
The Naked Dating Site
The Naked Dating Site is part of the Dating Network - sign up for one and your profile may be shared with the others including Single Naked Dating,Single Naked Men, Single Naked Gay Men, Single Naked Women, Single Naked Lesbian Women and Single Naked Couples.
The company doesn’t offer any specific aid to anyone unhappy about a contact, and this has to raise a concern about people’s intimate pictures being shared without their consent.
There is an age disclaimer on the site, but nowhere to raise any concerns.
Can you help?
We are looking for a volunteer to help us
research the above dating sites’ public profiles to see which have safeguarding policies
where this isn’t available, to contact contact the dating sites to ascertain what someone should do if they meet someone who grooms or otherwise abuses people they meet.
